Woman! Where are they?
Woman! Where are they?
Just like the woman who was caught in adultery in the bible, Jesus Christ is asking you
“Woman, where are they?”
‘Woman! Where are your accusers?”
“Woman! Where are they that are judging you?”
John 8:10
Unlike that woman in the bible, you might not be surrounded by an angry mob ready to stone you for adultery. You might be going through a tough time and the enemy of your soul is making a mockery of you. Life might be dealing you a hand that is causing you to feel harassed.
“They are gone”. The accused woman responded to Jesus.
Sis! I don’t know where you are in this journey called life, but I bring you some encouragements.
Your accusers are gone in Jesus' name.
Those pointing their fingers at you, accusing you of your sins or shortcomings.
Those who are using the magnifying mirror to enlarge your shortcoming.
Those who are shouting your reproach from the roof top are gone.
Sometimes the accusers are the voices in your head, or that overwhelming feeling of guilt.
Like that woman you might have been forced to walk in the hallmark of shame, today, Christ is saying your accusers are gone.
No one condemns you.
Christ himself is saying “I do not condemn you”.
Sis! Shame is not your portion. Christ has taken your shame away.
Christ Himself has washed away your stains and sins, believe it because it is true Psalm 31:17.
Christ is saying I have not come into your life to Lord righteousness over you. I have not come to magnify your sins and faults. I have not come into your life to make you feel guilty or bad. I have come as a means of escape for you. Escape from repeated failures; bad decisions; sins; guilt and shame.
Sometimes even long after our accusers are gone, we continue to replay their voices in our heads. The enemy of our souls continues to plague us with the ugly names we have been called by our accusers. Even when we know that Christ does not condemn us. Even when we know that His voice trumps over that of our enemies.
1.Our faith in Jesus transfers God’s righteousness to us and he now declares us flawless in his eyes. This means we can now enjoy true and lasting peace with God, all because of what our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One, has done for us. 2. Our faith guarantees us permanent access into this marvelous kindness that has given us a perfect relationship with God. What incredible joy bursts forth within us as we keep on celebrating our hope of experiencing God’s glory!
Rom 5: 1-2 TPT
You! Yes, you my dearest have been made acceptable by Christ. As Christ says to that woman, I say to you today.
Go!
Go and live a Christ centered life.
“No sir,” the woman answered.
Then Jesus told her, “I am not going to accuse you either. You may go now, but don't sin anymore.” John 8:11
