WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU A TOMATO
When life gives you a lemon; you know what to make, lemonade right?
But what if life gives you tomatoes, what do you make?
I know! I know! My analogy is lame, lol.
I'm trying nau!
But seriously, st*** happens (Yeah! Stuff happens).
I was recently reminded that trials will definitely come in life and we have been warned ahead of time.
'I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth, you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”' John 16:33
Let’s circle back to my original question; when life give you tomatoes what do you make? Now! My friend don’t get technical with me o. I know you probably thinking, what type of tomatoes?
Is it Roma;
Tomato-Jos;
Cherry; Plum;
Yellow; Campari; Pear;
Brandywine or Cherokee Purple?
My dear! What I mean is when life happens; when the unexpected occurs; when stuff hits the fan, when katata burst.
If like me, you have been on this planet for 2 mins; you know there are troubles; difficulties; heartaches; heartbreaks; wahala everywhere.
According to Apostle James;
'My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties, see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up in you the power of endurance. And then as your endurance grows even stronger, it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking.' James (Jacob) 1:2-4
I like Brother James’ advice; he is saying.
Don’t look like your problem.
Adjust your perception.
You are not your problem.
True happiness can be discovered as you pass the test.
Look for opportunities of growth inside your problem.
There is Joy inside your difficulties.
Your power of endurance is being built.
You will experience the untold blessings of God; if your faith remains strong.
You are on your way to perfection.
This is your journey to “There is nothing missing”.
This is your journey to “There is nothing lacking”.
Friends I don’t know what you may be going through in life. I only know what I am going through, but I am here to tell encourage you
DO NOT GIVE UP ON GOD AS HE WILL NOT GIVE UP ON YOU. JOY COMES IN THE MORNING!
SHALOM!
